With the 03128 Jacket, ONI has once again thrown away the heritage rule book and opted for a design that blends tradition with modern ingenuity. The shape of this piece is that of the traditional Chore coat but borrows details from the iconic Type-I trucker from the early 20th Century. We might recognise the single chest pocket with reinforcing rivets, which sits neatly alongside the pleated and sewn-in front from that early design. Donut buttons are also present to add a little heritage punch, but the brand has decided to cut this jacket a little longer and include side entry pockets for convenience.
This mid-weight denim is produced from 100% cotton, and has been treated to a heavy sulphur coating which creates a unique patina to the fabric, and guarantees brilliant ageing over time. Buttoned cuffs ensure the perfect comfort fit, while a stamp of quality is assured by the brands' demon mascot who appears in the neck patch.
