ONI’s new stripe fabric is the result of meticulous experimentation with a ‘drop needle’ technique, which causes these beautiful lines in the fabric without losing strength or integrity. On the lighter side of the scale for the brand, this denim weighs in at just 12 ounces, and boasts a loose weave which makes this fabric incredibly supple and easy to wear.
Taking its inspiration from some of the earliest workwear designs of the American west, this traditional waistcoat design is cut in a standard fit, making it perfect for layering up, or with a simple tee. Three simple patch pockets have been added to the front, while the front closure has been lined with a row of custom manufactured branded donut buttons. The back of the hem is cut straight, while, for a touch of detail, the front features classic drop points. To finish this piece off, ONI have added one of their bold, vintage-inspired rayon brand labels to the neck.
