This Daisy Mae from London based denim atelier Soldier Blue, harks back to the American railroad of the early 20th century, with a playful modern take on historical materials. The 6-panel dome construction is made up of rinsed denim with a slubby indigo patina, a heritage hickory stripe, and inverted selvedge denim. The contrast panelling is eye catching and subtle all at once. 100% cotton taping has been used to bind all seams on the inside for natural durability, with no plastics to be found. This model was designed and crafted in east London using vintage sewing machines in the traditional single stitch technique. It was made by one person from start to finish, and so superior quality is guaranteed. This hat is on the small side, measuring up at 56cm, so if you have a petite head, this might just be the one of a kind hat for you.
