Full Count 2978-2101 'Dartford' 13.7oz Type III Denim Jacket

$570

The ‘Dartford’ range from Japanese denim pioneers, Full Count, is steeped in history, and has a brilliant inspiration story. The brand have told that this range takes its influence from the train station platform where Mick Jagger met Kieth Richards on that fateful day in 1961. The Rock’n'Roll legend is famed for the denim he wore back in the early days, and for this piece, the brand have tried to recreate the very same signs of wear that Sir Mick had on his original Type-II. A slight yellowing can be found throughout, as if this piece had been in storage for half a century, and deeper signs of wear and tear are evident than on other models, creating a beautifully authentic feel.

The Type-III denim jacket is perhaps the most recognisable of all the classic models, and this particular iteration is packed with classic details. With a standard vintage fit, this jacket is cut from the brand’s incredible 13.7oz selvedge denim. With cotton hand-picked in Zimbabwe, no stone has been left unturned when it comes to quality assurance. Two flap button pockets sit in line with the ‘V pleats’, and a set of custom manufactured Full Count steel tuck buttons have been used throughout. Waist adjuster tabs can be used to cinch in the shape, and a genuine leather patch adorns the collar.
