Job Overview:
SON OF A STAG is looking for a passionate and experienced Retail Supervisor / Assistant Manager to play a key role in the daily operations of our store. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment, is committed to delivering outstanding customer service, and has a strong understanding of team leadership. Our customers expect a premium shopping experience, and we are looking for someone who can help us maintain and exceed those expectations.

Responsibilities:

Team Leadership & Support:

  • Supervise and support the retail team, ensuring a high standard of performance.
  • Assist in training, coaching, and developing staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Lead by example, fostering a positive and motivating work environment.

Customer Service & Sales Performance:

  • Ensure an exceptional customer experience, providing expert advice and assistance.
  • Address customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and effective manner.
  • Support the team in achieving and exceeding sales targets.

Store Presentation & Visual Merchandising:

  • Maintain high visual merchandising standards that reflect the brand identity.
  • Ensure the store is always well-presented, clean, and inviting.

Inventory & Operations Management:

  • Assist with inventory control, ensuring stock levels are maintained and managed efficiently.
  • Support store operations, including opening/closing procedures and cash handling.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.

Brand Engagement:

  • Work with the team to execute in-store events.
  • Engage with customers to promote brand loyalty and awareness.

Requirements:

Experience & Knowledge:

  • Minimum of 3 years of retail experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or assistant management role.
  • Background in heritage, vintage, or menswear fashion is a strong advantage.
  • Proficiency with inventory management systems.

Skills & Attributes:

  • Strong leadership and team-building skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and proactive thinking.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Organised and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
