This 100% cotton bandana is has been woven with a selvedge edge, on vintage looms, and has been hand-sewn, and hand-printed in Japan’s Kansai District. Each vivid print has been designed by Japanese-American artist, Yurika Shikai, who produces intricate patterns which playfully blend the traditions of bandana designs, and modern popular culture, while this company was born as the brain child of avid collector and bandana enthusiast, Jonathan Lukacek.

Inspired by traditional 1800's ear bandanas and tattoos, One Ear Brand present the 'Dead Lotus' bandana. Made of their usual 100% cotton, this bandana is decorated with dead lotus flowers in a scene of black and red. Perfect for a splash of colour, you can use this 70x70cm bandana to liven up any outfit.

Modernising traditional design

Printed, cut, and sewn by hand in Japan’s Kansai district, One Ear Brand is the collaboration between American designer Jonathan Lukacek and Japanese artist Yurika Shikai. Inspired by the intricate designs of traditional Japanese printmaking, the pair use playful pop art homage to create illustrations that feel both ancient and new — and make for some great bandanas!
