Full Count 2107HA Patched Type I Denim Jacket - 'Dartford' Wash

The ‘Dartford’ range from Japanese denim pioneers, Full Count, is steeped in history, and has a brilliant inspiration story. The brand have told that this range takes its influence from the train station platform where Mick Jagger met Kieth Richards on that fateful day in 1961. The Rock’n'Roll legend is famed for the denim he wore back in the early days, and for this piece, the brand have tried to recreate the very same signs of wear that Sir Mick had on his original Type-I. A slight yellowing can be found throughout, as if this piece had been in storage for half a century, and deeper signs of wear and tear are evident than on other models, creating a beautifully authentic feel.

The Type-I is the denim jacket which started it all, and has endured for the best part of a century. This option from Full Count boasts plenty of original detailing, including a short-cut, boxy shape, a single chest pocket with button flap, sew down ‘knife pleats’ on the chest, and a custom manufactured cinch-back to adjust the shape. Buttoned cuffs have been included, along with a genuine leather patch, selvedge button plate, and punch-through copper rivets at the points of stress.

For this version of the classic, Full Count has added several patches across the jacket, including a playing card, "FULLCOUNT" ID badges, and a large motorcycle club-style emblem on the back. The jacket has been designed to have a handmade feel, evoking the biker culture of 1960s California.
