Sugar Cane's Type II Denim Jacket is the perfect everyday staple. The Type-II holds a special place in our hearts, as it carefully bridges the gap between its younger and older brothers. This boxy fit jacket is a little longer in the body than the Type-I, and boasts two chest pockets with button flaps for convenience. A button plate is met with a row of sewn down knife pleats, and the waist tabs provide an adjustable fit. Constructed from the brand's 'Standard Denim', this 14.25 oz. fabric has been created to best replicate vintage denim, made to be worn time and time again.

How to Wash
Step 1

When you’re ready to wash your jeans, button the fly and turn them inside out. Doing up the fly ensures the jeans maintain their shape, and turning them inside out avoids unwanted marks from the washing machine drum on the indigo.

Step 2

Place the jeans in your washing machine with neutral detergent, and set them on a non/low-spin wash at cold–20 degrees for raw, or up to 30 degrees for pre-washed. High spin may cause unwanted 'lightning fades', and washing too hot can cause excess shrinkage, so it’s important to follow these steps carefully!

Step 3

Once your jeans are done washing, hang them somewhere safe and allow them to air dry. Putting your jeans in a tumble dryer has a high chance of degrading the fabric and misshaping your jeans. Make sure wherever you hang them has proper drainage, as you’ll be expecting some indigo runoff.
