Based on original Sugar Cane jeans from the 1960s that feature star stitching on the back pockets, the Union Star model takes the cut of the '47 fit and the details of the vintage example. 

Cut from Sugar Cane's signature standard denim, this jean is sure to fade beautifully over time. Original 5-pocket features as all present, as well as a USA shaped leather patch with customer star embroidery and customer 'Sugar Cane' buttons to match.

How to Wash
Step 1

When you’re ready to wash your jeans, button the fly and turn them inside out. Doing up the fly ensures the jeans maintain their shape, and turning them inside out avoids unwanted marks from the washing machine drum on the indigo.

Step 2

Place the jeans in your washing machine with neutral detergent, and set them on a non/low-spin wash at cold–20 degrees for raw, or up to 30 degrees for pre-washed. High spin may cause unwanted 'lightning fades', and washing too hot can cause excess shrinkage, so it’s important to follow these steps carefully!

Step 3

Once your jeans are done washing, hang them somewhere safe and allow them to air dry. Putting your jeans in a tumble dryer has a high chance of degrading the fabric and misshaping your jeans. Make sure wherever you hang them has proper drainage, as you’ll be expecting some indigo runoff.
