Sugar Cane's 1947 jeans are their self titled 'Signature piece'. Constructed from the brand's 'Standard Denim', this 14.25 oz. fabric has been created to best replicate vintage denim, made to be worn time and time again. With a mid-rise and a regular straight fit, this silhouette is flattering on a variety of different body types. The classic jean features are present: with a 5 pocket design, button fly, and selvedge ID because sometimes the classic designs don't need much tweaking.

How to Wash
Step 1

When you’re ready to wash your jeans, button the fly and turn them inside out. Doing up the fly ensures the jeans maintain their shape, and turning them inside out avoids unwanted marks from the washing machine drum on the indigo.

Step 2

Place the jeans in your washing machine with neutral detergent, and set them on a non/low-spin wash at cold–20 degrees for raw, or up to 30 degrees for pre-washed. High spin may cause unwanted 'lightning fades', and washing too hot can cause excess shrinkage, so it’s important to follow these steps carefully!

Step 3

Once your jeans are done washing, hang them somewhere safe and allow them to air dry. Putting your jeans in a tumble dryer has a high chance of degrading the fabric and misshaping your jeans. Make sure wherever you hang them has proper drainage, as you’ll be expecting some indigo runoff.
