This 1937 model ‘Cowboy’ 101 jean proudly displays the attention to detail that Lee Archives have gone to in this collection. Cut from an 12.5oz, 100% cotton denim, this jean offers a brilliant vintage silhouette, with its wide straight fit, and a comfortable high rise which sits on the natural waist. Triple stitch seams have been included on the seat and yoke seams, and large bell shaped back pockets show the much loved characteristics of the brand. This particular model has been treated a seriously heavy wash, which makes the jean feel as though it had been worn hard for a decade of early 20th Century ranch work.
Branded copper rivets have been used throughout, including a ‘cowboy’ crotch rivet, and the back pockets have been bar tacked at the corners for durability. Donut buttons make up the fly fastening, while a branded ‘Lee Cowboy’ button adorns the waistband. To easily cinch in the shape in true vintage style, the brand have included a custom manufactured cinch back on this model, while a traditional ‘hair on hide’ leather patch proudly displays the ‘Lee’ moniker.
