This 1944 model denim Jacket has been crafted in Japan by the good people at Lee, to exacting standards, and using original archival pieces for reference. The ‘Cowboy’ branded donut buttons hark back to the earliest days of the brand’s production, while a boxy shape has been retained, which would have originally allowed for better freedom of movement when in the saddle.
A 13.5oz, left hand twill denim has been used for this model, with the denim being sanforized to radically reduce shrinkage. The brand have included a single chest pocket, traditional sewn in knife pleats, and vintage inspired domed steel rivets at points of stress, to ensure that this jacket will stand up to anything you can throw at it.
