This 100% cotton bandana is has been woven with a selvedge edge, on vintage looms, and has been hand-sewn, and hand-printed in Japan’s Kansai District. This vivid print has been designed by artist Koichiro Takagi, who produces art drawing on pop culture and witty text graphics to create a feeling of "uncomfortableness", while this company was born as the brain child of avid collector and bandana enthusiast, Jonathan Lukacek.
The 'Scherzo' design critiques American consumerism with its reference to the U.S. dollar bill, featuring the all seeing eye, breaking chains, and a tabby cat with a mocking tongue. This bandana is cut at 70x70 cms, and can easily be used as a headscarf, shawl, carry wrap, or traditional Japanese way to wrap gifts.
