This 100% cotton bandana is has been woven with a selvedge edge, on vintage looms, and has been hand-sewn, and hand-printed in Japan’s Kansai District. This vivid print has been designed by artist Alessio Vitelli, who produces intricate patterns which playfully blend the traditions of bandana designs, and modern popular culture, while this company was born as the brain child of avid collector and bandana enthusiast, Jonathan Lukacek.
The 'Showa Tsubaki' pattern is inspired by 1960s Japanese Post-War art, featuring the Japanese Tsubaki flower inside overlapping geometric patterns. This bandana is cut at 70x70 cms, and can easily be used as a headscarf, shawl, carry wrap, or traditional Japanese way to wrap gifts.
