Spellbound are known to play with the boundaries between modern design, and heritage aesthetics, and this jacket is a great example of that. With inspiration being taken from early 20th Century American workwear, this classic ‘Coverall’ jacket boasts a boxy shape, triple stitch detailing, and multiple utility pockets.
The outer shell is cut from a rinsed 100% cotton, in bold ‘Brick’ colour option, which is contrasted nicely by the off white stitch detailing. The brand have decided to opt for a stand colour on this design, which we might not expect to see on this traditional style, but sets it out from the crowd nicely. Custom manufactured, vintage inspired steel tuck buttons, and an aged leather patch are the cherry on top of the cake for this piece, which has been masterfully crafted by one of Japan’s finest.
