For this 602 model, ONI have gotten out of their heavyweight comfort zone to bring us the luxuriously breathable 12oz ‘secret denim’. The denim’s construction is low tension which gives it it’s classic slubby feel whilst the weft yarn has been beige dyed and sneaks through the surface of the fabric at irregular intervals, giving the denim a heritage feel. Unlike the ‘secret denim’ that we know and love however, this one weighs in at 12oz, that’s an entire 8oz less than we are used to. This makes this offering the perfect summer slubby jean due to its lightweight and breathable make-up. The 602 features a classic 5-pocket top construction with a mid-rise which sits comfortably on the waist. A little more room is given in the thigh on this model for superior comfort whilst the leg gently tapers down to the ankle. Heavy duty rivets, bar tacks, raised belt loops and canvas pocket bags all team together to guarantee this jean’s durability. The deer skin leather patch on the rear is home to the company’s mysterious demon mascot. These are a unique jean with incredible fading possibilities from the denim masters at ONI.
