The S601XX falls into the category of WWII era denim, and is a brilliant offering from Freewheelers’ ‘The Vanishing West’ brand. With classic detailing from this period of denim history, the brand have paid very close attention to the things that matter to the denim enthusiast. This loose/straight model features an unriveted watch pocket, plain donut buttons, and beautiful buffalo check pocket bags, which are synonymous with the time of rationing.
A high rise, and a classic five panel top block construction make this jean incredibly comfortable to wear, while a rinsed 14oz denim already shows bags of character. Guaranteed to display beautiful fades over time, this denim has been woven on vintage shuttle looms at a low tension to give the surface of the fabric a slubby texture. To top it all off the brand have included a deerskin leather patch with their vintage inspired logo.
