Weighing in at around 19 ounces, this new offering from ONI Japan is a special release to mark the brand’s 20th anniversary. This jacket is crafted from a uniquely woven, heavy slub yarn, and is based on one of the most special in denim history: the Type III trucker jacket.

The fabric has been hand-woven on vintage looms to produce a characteristic, slubby texture, which in time will yield the iconic fades that have made ONI such a firm customer favourite. Featuring a warp and weft of 3.7 and 5.0 respectively, this jacket's count is almost the same as the brand’s much loved ‘Secret Denim’, and has been given a unique blue colour under-dye, which will show through as the jacket is washed and worn.

As always, ONI provides modern interpretations packed with authentic vintage detailing. The 20th Anniversary jacket reinterprets the classic Type III, including doughnut laurel buttons, patch front pockets and waist epaullettes. Combined with a more relaxed silhouette and unique under-dye fabric, this trucker jacket is a one of a kind.
