One of ONI’s main contenders in the heavyweight category is this natural indigo 546. Weighing in at 22oz, these jeans are interesting from the start, but pair that with a slubby, low tension weave and natural indigo dyeing process and you have something really original. The natural indigo fades slowly over time, and when it does, it reveals a beige dyed weft which gives the jeans a wild heritage feel. The 546 is a regular tapered fit with a classic 5-pocket waist construction, providing a comfortable fit at the waist and a slow, natural taper down to the ankle. They have one of the most interesting selvedge lines we have seen here at Son Of A Stag, in a combination of black, orange and green. They are supported by universal copper rivets, heavy-duty green bar tacks and raised belt loops. The beautiful deerskin leather patch with the company’s iconic mascot is present on the back. These 546’s are perfect for the heavyweight denim fan with an eye for nuanced details.
