Double RL truly does denim justice with their Vintage 5-Pocket Jean. These relaxed fitted jeans are made with 14 oz. Japanese selvedge denim that has been meticulously hand faded and darned to best replicate a well loved pair. The jeans are practical with a hand-set, chain-stitched waistband with belt loops for added durability. Not just practical but stylish too, with back pocket detailing and a leather Double RL logo label on the back right waist. These jeans will make an easy addition to any wardrobe.

How to Wash
Step 1

When you’re ready to wash your jeans, button the fly and turn them inside out. Doing up the fly ensures the jeans maintain their shape, and turning them inside out avoids unwanted marks from the washing machine drum on the indigo.

Step 2

Place the jeans in your washing machine with neutral detergent, and set them on a non/low-spin wash at cold–20 degrees for raw, or up to 30 degrees for pre-washed. High spin may cause unwanted 'lightning fades', and washing too hot can cause excess shrinkage, so it’s important to follow these steps carefully!

Step 3

Once your jeans are done washing, hang them somewhere safe and allow them to air dry. Putting your jeans in a tumble dryer has a high chance of degrading the fabric and misshaping your jeans. Make sure wherever you hang them has proper drainage, as you’ll be expecting some indigo runoff.

Lay the front and back waistband flat and together. Take a measurement across the entire width of the waistband and double it for the full waist size.
