The ED-47 from Edwin draws it’s influence from the legendary 1947 Levi’s model which has become a firm favourite among denim enthusiasts. A straight leg with a comfortable mid rise and a button fly make this a pretty timeless jean, but there’s something a little special about this particular model…
Coming fresh from the Soldier Blue workshop, this re-imagined jean draws on inspiration from traditional Japanese methods of garment repair, including hand sewn Sashiko, and Boro work. All of the work has been carried out by one tailor in their East London workshop, and every stitch has been made to count double, as these are truly a one of a kind offering. This raw denim model will shrink up to 6% in the wash, so be very careful how you treat them!
