Field Notes

Inspired by the classic work shirts of the 1930s, Freewheelers 'Birner' Mechanic Shirt is the perfect piece for year-round layering. Cut from a thick cotton, the shirt is insulating without being too heavy, and a sturdy, urea button closure insures a good fit. Two asymmetrical chest pockets have been added, a hallmark of the period it was inspired by, and a buttoned chin strap adds nice detail to the collar. Featuring a Union Made tag on the inner placket, the inside has also been brushed for a soft feeling against the skin.
