Field Notes

This short cut, boxy shaped jacket from Shangri-La offers a superb vintage silhouette, and draws influence from 1940’s American sports coats. Crafted from a 12oz waxed canvas from Halley Stevenson, this jacket packs more than enough punch to keep you dry through the winter months, while the brand have added luxurious details, which help to make this jacket so sought after.

For added durability, the brand have chosen to use custom manufactured antique brass hardware, and have added 1934 Motorcycle design lining for superior comfort and class. The Varenne name acts as a tribute to the Italian horse, known for being ‘the best racer of all time!’.
