Sugar Cane's Type III model jeans are a slimmed down version of their classic 1947 cut.  Constructed from a 13 oz. black selvedge denim, the fabric has been woven with uneven black yarns for a more dynamic fabric. With a mid-rise and a slim straight fit, this silhouette is great if you like a classic rocker look. The classic jean features are present: with a 5 pocket design, button fly, and selvedge ID because sometimes the classic designs don't need much tweaking.

How to Wash
Step 1

When you’re ready to wash your jeans, button the fly and turn them inside out. Doing up the fly ensures the jeans maintain their shape, and turning them inside out avoids unwanted marks from the washing machine drum on the indigo.

Step 2

Place the jeans in your washing machine with neutral detergent, and set them on a non/low-spin wash at cold–20 degrees for raw, or up to 30 degrees for pre-washed. High spin may cause unwanted 'lightning fades', and washing too hot can cause excess shrinkage, so it’s important to follow these steps carefully!

Step 3

Once your jeans are done washing, hang them somewhere safe and allow them to air dry. Putting your jeans in a tumble dryer has a high chance of degrading the fabric and misshaping your jeans. Make sure wherever you hang them has proper drainage, as you’ll be expecting some indigo runoff.

Lay the front and back waistband flat and together. Take a measurement across the entire width of the waistband and double it for the full waist size.
